Governor Jim Gilmore talks to students about current issues

untitledby Alex Malm

With only a few days to go before the highly anticipated New Hampshire Primary,  presidential candidate Jim Gilmore visits campus on Feb 4th.

Governor Gilmore spoke to students about issues of college debt, the heroin epidemic, and foreign affairs.

“Gilmore was very dependent on his resume, saying that a president needs much executive experience, and believed passionately in what he was saying,” said freshman Ronald Cooper.

Gilmore, unlike any other candidate, is a veteran.

Candidate Carly Fiorina also spoke on campus later that day.

The New Hampshire Primary is scheduled to take place on February 9th.
