Freshmen Second Semester

The last two weeks have definitely been a mess. I’ve been running around campus and home trying to get things done, and I am proud to say that I’ve finally completed my taxes and FASFA. Last year, my dad did them wrong and I was $500 poorer, which sucked, so I’m definitely looking forward to my first real tax return! …Which will go towards tuition, but whatever haha.

I have so much homework to do lately, because I was procrastinating. I was thinking too much about stupid stuff, and ignoring work that should have been done long ago. When I say stupid stuff, clearly I mean boys. Yup, I’m done for a while. It’s time for some serious girls’ night outs! Tomorrow night one of my best friends from high school is coming to visit, she spent all last semester in Ireland and now goes to Plymouth State University. She usually goes to UNH on weekends, so coming here will be a huge change but I’m sure we’ll have a great time.

I’m also thinking about making a huge change in my life. I’ve been working at Easy Spirit in Tilton, NH for three years. I go there every weekend to work, and the employees/former employees are my second family. Recently, there have been many changes in the company, and legit, I’m just getting sick of it all. I’ve been offered a job at Payless back home, and since there is one in Rindge as well, it sounds wayyy more practical. It would be a difficult change, and my shoe collection would probably double, as if the 50-75 pairs I have now isn’t enough, but I think it would be worth it in the long run.
